MUSIC LESSONS YOUR
KIDS WILL THANK
YOU FOR
You’ve been searching for that one activity for your child…
Y’know…
The activity where your child is counting down the days until they get to go again.
The activity that they don’t fight you to go to.
The activity that they’re sad to leave.
The activity that they are successful with.
But most importantly…
The activity that makes them feel like they BELONG somewhere.
OUR PROCESS
The thing that makes a child successful in any activity is the environment…the instructors…how the material is presented.
At Miss Emily’s Music School, each lesson is strategically designed to make sure EVERY student succeeds in what they are learning that day.
At your child’s first music lesson, they will:
- Learn the basics of their instrument.
- Learn to play a song they ACTUALLY know (instead of some boring song written by some old guy in a powdered wig).
- Create positive relationships with other children and ALL of our staff.
- Will leave smiling and feeling confident.
How you ask?
Parents call it magic.
We call it The Exploration Method.
The Exploration Method empowers students to play music confidently through EXPERIMENTATION, EXPLORATION, and PLAY.
With this method, your child will:
- Be successful at every lesson.
- Will be heard and supported.
- Will learn to solve problems and think critically
- Will lead their learning experience
What’s it look like?
Students work independently with headphones on.
The teacher walks around helping and encouraging students.
The last 5-10 minutes of class, students do a group activity together.
Either playing a music game tougher or playing songs for each other.
We offer group lessons for Piano, Guitar, Ukulele, Drums, Bass, and Glee Club.
(Note: the format for group Drum Lessons and Glee Club are slightly different but equally magical.)
There is no:
❌ Shaming your child for not practicing
❌ Harshly pointing out their mistakes
❌ Setting them up to fail
The Exploration Method creates a positive association with music lessons that will cause your child to fall in love with music and learning.
We offer Group Lessons for:
